Nearly corporate all executives and office employees have a briefcase. They use it to hold their papers, documents and other work-related things. Some would even place their laptop in it. They consider it as the best travel companion which fits their lifestyle.
The history of briefcase would date back from the–th century when people used the basic form of the briefcase called a satchel to carry their treasures like coins or the early forms of money. They would use it as a container for these possessions while they travel. It is used the same way at present. It has changed though to the form that we recognize today.
